A high-level roundtable was held at Durana Tech Park, bringing together the CEO of Kilometro Rosso — one of the most successful science and technology parks, based in Bergamo, Italy — and representatives from public and private universities. The meeting created a space for dialogue on the development of science and technology parks and innovation ecosystems, and on the role of academia–industry collaboration within technology parks.
Discussions focused on strengthening research–industry links, fostering effective knowledge transfer and exploring models that support innovation-driven growth. Particular attention was given to how academic research can be turned into practical applications and market-ready solutions through structured collaboration with innovation centres and industrial partners.
The roundtable reinforced Durana Tech Park's commitment to acting as a bridge between academia, industry and innovation — both nationally and internationally. By facilitating dialogue with established innovation actors and academic institutions, Durana continues to position itself as a platform that supports collaboration, expertise sharing and long-term ecosystem development.
